The mission of Construction One is to develop and implement effective policies and procedures that reduce or eliminate accidents and injuries through training, education and inspections. Construction One makes safety a priority when it comes to any operation we perform.
Prior to the start of each project, our Safety Director, Project Manager and Superintendent develop a site specific safety plan to identify safety threats, work conditions and challenges. C1 doesn’t stop there; weekly “Tool Box Talks” and daily reports are conducted to ensure the correct steps are taken to alleviate any threats or hazardous working conditions.
Here at C1, we don’t see requirements as ending points, but as starting points to continually exceed our safety and wellness expectations. Our onsite Superintendents are required to obtain an OSHA 30 hour Certification, as well as First Aid Certification. The training does not stop there, at C1 we hold our employees, subcontractors and vendors to a company-wide safety policy. Our Safety Director has worked closely with the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation to endorse our safety compliance.
