J. Crew

Demolition of an existing mall space, converting it to an 8500sf J. Crew store. The project featured furbishing the existing storefront, new wood flooring, new finishes, all new MEP systems, an open ceiling look with suspended lighting, and a fitting room cluster that featured a suspended hard lid cloud ceiling. The project had four main challenges:

• Numerous drawing changes that turned an 11-week project into 26 weeks
• All night work
• COVID -19
• Very strict mall guidelines and regulations*

*Construction One was the first contractor to never receive a fine for violation of mall regulations
